전부터 궁금했던 가게, 카페 바 KayGee's에 다녀왔습니다.

장소는 신카와 니쵸메의 미나미 타카하시와 주오하시 중간쯤, 대로에서 조금 들어간 가는 길의 맨션 1층에서 아치형 입구가 표지입니다.

쇼윈도에 장식된 레코드 재킷을 보는 것만으로 음악에 집착이 있는 가게라는 것을 알 수 있습니다.

Cafe Bar KayGee's, was one of the places I've been wanted to visit.

It is located between Minami-Takabashi (bridge) and Chuo-Ohashi (bridge), along the narrow street. It's arch shaped facade could be recognized as a mark.

By only looking at the records displayed at the window, you can easily tell that the place is for the music lovers.

　

들어가 보면 예상대로 기분 좋은 사운드가 흐르고 친숙한 미소가 맞이해 줍니다.(주인 호리타 씨)

As expected, smooth music and a warm smile welcomes you at the entrance. (Mr. Hotta, owner of the cafe)

　

방문일은 토요일이었지만, 런치 세트는 평일과 동 요금, 950엔(세금 포함)의 소라 콩과 실라스의 파스타 런치를 받았습니다.

생면의 톡톡 튀는 촉감이 맛!수프와 샐러드도 딸려 있습니다.그 외 라이스 플레이트도 있어, 매일 메뉴가 바뀌는 것 같고, 생강구이나 오므라이스 등이 있는 것 같습니다.

The lunch set menu costs JPY950- through Mon. to Sat. which includes main dish, salad, and soup.

I tried Pasta for main dish, which the noodle is not dry but raw before boiled and it was delicious. Other choices change daily. (Pork ginger, Omlet, etc.)

오너에게 이야기를 묻자, 부정기로 보사노바나 플루트 연주 등의 어쿠스틱 라이브를 실시하고 있다고 가르쳐 주었습니다.

뮤직 충전은 출연자마다 설정되지만, 이전 보사노바라이브는 2,500엔으로 즉시 매진이었다든가.

원래 오너의 음악을 좋아하기 시작한 가게에서 다양한 장르의 양질의 음악과 맛있는 식사로 치유의 공간을 만들고 싶었다고 합니다.

평일의 런치 타임은 인근에 근무하고 있는 분들의 내점에서 혼잡하고 있으므로, 느긋하게 보내고 싶은 경우는 점심 시간을 줄이거나 토요일이 추천입니다.

According to Mr. Hotta, the owner of the cafe, an acoustic live performances are scheduled non-regularly.  The music charge for the latest bosa nova performance was JPY2,500- which sold out at once, though the charge changes depending on the performer.  

The place is Mr. Hotta's dream come true project where people can spend relaxing time listening to nice music and enjoy good food.

If you wish to touch the essence of the comfortable atmosphere, visiting weekday lunch might not be the right choice because a lot of business people come in on that time.  Recommends visiting in the late afternoon during week days, or on Saturdays.

　

그리고 이외에도 올림픽 메달리스트를 포함한 세계적인 유도가가 가끔 내점한다고 합니다.

츠키지에서 차를 하려고 6가의 파출소 부근을 들어간 좁은 길을 걷고 있으면, 갑자기 이상한 맨션을 발견?!

As walking through narrow street somewhere around Tsukiji 6-chome, all the sudden, very strange looking appartment appeared!

어딘가에서 본 적이 있는 것 같은..., 혹시 츠키지 혼간지의 바리?

라고 생각하니 츠키지 혼간지의 반통형 지붕이 맨션 뒤에서 얼굴을 내밀고 있었을 뿐이었습니다.

깜짝 놀랐기 때문에 1장 패치리.

Although it looked very familiar, pretty much of partial mock-up of Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple. The mystery was easily solved.  The appartment itself was built on the other side of the temple and the arch type roof of the temple just happened to show up. Took a snap shot since it was quite an encounter.

　

　

그리고 목적지의 「츠키지 다방」으로 향했는데, 무려 창업 45년째에 폐점에!왜?거짓말이었으면 좋겠다.

Headed to "Tsukiji Sabo", a local cafe, but eventually, had to find and admit a sad news on the door. The cafe closed down!  This cafe has been serving locals since 1972 and god help us why now?

이곳의 커피 젤리는 절품이었는데요금도 200엔으로 가격감 발군으로, 한층 더 토요일은 반액의 100엔으로 유익했는데!!

One of the best choices of this cafe was "coffee jelly with vanila ice cream on top" which only costed JPY200 and its high quality valued for money. On Saturdays, this masterpiece used to be discounted 50% and was served for JPY100.  Assume that this tragedy shocked all the local sweet tooth.

　

　

주말의 세심한 즐거움을 잃어 조금 낙담했지만, 마음을 고쳐 큰길로 나와 츠키지 혼간지를 정면에 숭배해 다음 목적지로 향했습니다.　하지만 아직도 꿈이었으면 합니다.

Who cannot be upset when one has lost one's weekend pleasure. Just unbelievable. Perhaps nothing sweet can last forever, poor me and my coffee jelly・・・ 

Walked to front side of Tsukiji Hogwanji Temple and took a good look to cheer oneself up and headed to the next destination.  

　

 

 

주말에 긴자의 라이브 하우스 다녀왔습니다.

장소는 긴자 코리도 거리를 따라 지하 1층 "케네디 하우스 긴자"♪

당일은 하우스 밴드 슈퍼 원더랜드(SWL) 무대였습니다.

이 밴드, 그룹 사운즈, 포크, 뉴뮤직, 록 등 왜 연주해 버리는 미라클 밴드.　게다가 노래도 연주도 굉장히 능숙하다.　리더 우에다 사 씨의 허스키 & 하이톤 보이스로 노래하는 시카고, 비지즈, 오프코스에 취할 수 있습니다

그리고 서울풀에서 뛰어난 가창력을 가진 여성 보컬리스트 MIO의 노래에 감동했습니다.

평소에는 뮤직 충전 ¥2,160(+서비스 충전 15% 음식대별)입니다만, 이 날은 리더의 생일 스페셜 라이브 때문에 ¥4,320(다른 출연자 때도 별도 요금 설정)이었습니다.

 

If you are craving for good music and nice refreshment in the center of Tokyo, "Kennedy House" in Ginza might be the right spot. 

The main performer of this live music club is a band called "Super Wonderland" and this band can really play music.

Tsukasa Ueda, the leader of the band takes the audience away with his husky engrossing voice, singing Chicago, Bee Gees, Japanese pop music, and many more.

Mio, female vocalist of ｔhe band, touches everyone's heartstrings with her soulful voice, making breathtaking performance.

Music charge is normally JPY2,160(plus 15% service charge / food & beverage excluded), though it changes depending on the performance.  Ueda's special birthday live stage was JPY4,320.

언젠가 MIO에게 휘트니 휴스턴을 노래해 주었으면 좋겠다...

줄리를 의식했다(?)치바 이쿠야 씨의 노래하면서 베이스에 듭니다.　　

 

Bassist Ikuya Chiba stomps and pumps up the crowd.　　　　　　　　　　그리고 무려 라이브 하우스의 젊은 사장, 카세 토모키 씨가 특별 출연!(꽃미남입니다)

 

A special performance by Tomotaka Kase, the President of the club house.

카세 씨는 실은 와일드 원즈의 카세 구니히코 씨의 DNA를 계승하는 아들.　과연 오라가 굉장하다!　SWL과 함께 아버님의 명곡 「추상의 나기사」를 자랑하는 12현 기타로 상쾌하게 노래해 주었습니다.

연주 후, 고령의 부인의 손님을 찾아내, 손을 떼고 자리까지 안내하고 있던 카세씨의 모습이 매우 스마트하고 인상적이었습니다.

편안한 라이브 하우스라고 명언하고 있을 뿐이지요.　

 

이 날은 3 스테이지 있었습니다만, 출연자도 내용도 날마다 바뀌므로, 또 도전해 보고 싶습니다.

지금까지 라이브 하우스에는 흥미가 있으면서도 꽤 발길을 옮기지는 않았지만, 여기라면 안심하고 훌쩍 혼자 들르거나 친구나 지방에서 놀러 온 친척을 데리고 갈 수 있습니다.　우에다 리더에게 물었는데, 그 날의 손님에 맞추어 많은 레퍼토리로부터 연주곡을 결정해 주신다고 합니다.

덧붙여 평일 밤은 정장 차림의 비즈니스맨으로 자리가 메워진다든가.

 

Tomotaka Kase is the son of the late Kunihiko Kase, one of the most famous and successful musician in Japan.   He played one of his father's greatest hits in '60s with his 12 string guitar.

The stage performance is very exciting and the place is so comfortable, you can almost forget your everyday life.

Also, the location is so good and safe, you can casually stop by or bring your friends and family over.
